A virtual tutor will enable children to cope with and overcome study-related difficulties with the support of innovative, low-cost technology. Specifically, it will provide the student with more suitable study strategies in the case of Dsa, integrate specific tools that already exist, and give real-time feedback on both content and one’s study process to increase autonomy in studying. The child will come into contact with a virtual, game-like digital environment that will help him or her manage the space and time dimensions of real-world study. The goal is to make study time less tiring but more effective. The technology will also be customizable, tailored to the individual student: a key feature that will also help practitioners (psychologists, speech therapists, educators) chart individual care paths in the magnum sea of requests. The virtual tutor will be able to accompany the child anywhere, not just to school or home. Benefiting families, including financially, who will be able to help their children with Dsa develop more and more independence.
The announcement was made during a panel discussion open to the public titled “Kids and Tech Industry: Innovation, Startups and Social Impact Projects,” sponsored by Giffoni Innovation Hub (giffonihub.com) tomorrow Thursday, April 4, at 4 p.m. at the Agora of the Pietrarsa Railway Museum as part of Innovation Village, the entrepreneurial innovation event organized by Knowledge for Business.
