The project saw the Eni Dream Team write 4 web-friendly pills to tell the story of sustainability issues. In the first pill they focused on Net Zero Emission; in the second pill they gave practical sustainability tips suitable for young and old; and in the third pill they wrote about decarbonization issues. The fourth and final pill was perhaps the most creative. They told a dystopian reality of what could happen if something is not done to curb climate change.
Very important is to make people understand the numbers of impacts on the environment (how much CO2 we produce individually, as a country, Europe, etc.) and to give a “weight” to what the individual can do and how he or she can contribute positively. But also what can we obtain through forestry and CCUS (Carbon dioxide Capture & Utilization or Storage).
Human activities have come to emit 33 billion tons of CO2 per year, and the trend, even taking into account current environmental policies and announced reforms, is still expected to rise.
It will be necessary to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 30 billion tons over the next 30 years, and therefore a very significant commitment to decarbonization will be required of governments and industry, which can only be achievable with the crucial contribution of technological development and innovation.
In this context, the need to educate and sensitize individuals on these sensitive issues appears increasingly crucial, starting as early as young students and as early as the first years of school.

The talents of Eni’s Dream Team were therefore asked to create video pills, focusing on the overall theme of decarbonization, to be posted on the eniscuola.net website and to be used for Eni’s training courses at schools.
